The Semicon Japan in Tokyo is an international trade fair for the semiconductor industry, which has developed since its inception in 1977 as one of the largest fairs of its kind worldwide. Nationally and internationally renowned exhibitors provide an overview of the latest trends and the latest products, developments and technologies in the field of semiconductor technology, ranging from thin film technology on micro and nanotechnology to PV systems and materials. The aim of the Semicon is to accelerate the growth of the industry by bringing together producers and distributors with researchers and developers and provide them with an information and communication platform. Here the complete value chain is mapped from design to construction. The key focus is set on trends and practical solutions in semiconductor technology with additional focus on the needs of the expanding applications market that requires the development of special materials, packaging and test technology, as well as innovative structures and processes. The wide range of lectures, workshops and seminars offer good training possibilities, which round off this fair perfectly.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 16. December to 18. December 2015, about 60378 visitors on the Semicon Japan in Tokyo.
