The abf is an exhibition for active leisure, which takes place once a year in Hanover and has developed into North Germany's largest leisure and entertainment exhibition since its inception in 1978, at that time under the motto car, boat, leisure. Today, it is divided into three genres: Travel & Holiday, Caravan & Camping, Active & Fit and picks up all leisure-related topics in detail. In the area Caravanning & Camping, the largest caravan exhibition in northern Germany, exhibitors show new products and innovations of the coming season from the entry level model to luxury mobile homes including the necessary accessories. Sports and fitness are in the focus at the fair area Active & Fit whith the main topics cycling and water sports. Also at the abf, the subject of e-bikes is gaining more and more on importance and invites all visitors on a huge test track to try and drive them. Futhermore a wide range of new and innovative functional clothing and equipment for indoor and outdoor activities are offered here. At the fair area Travel & Holiday tour operators and tourism organizations present attractive destinations around the world. Whether city breaks, long distance tours, adventure holidays, spa trips or cruises - each visitor will find the right destination and the perfect offer for his coming holiday. Even now the abf kidnapps all visitors on a culinary journey in the restaurants and at the booths of the fair.
The abf will take place on 5 days from Wednesday, 31. January to Sunday, 04. February 2018 in Hanover.
