ProSweets Cologne is an international trade fair for the entire spectrum of suppliers of the confectionery industry. This ranges from the confectionery packaging and packaging technology through the specially for the confectionery production required raw materials and additives to process technology. Secondary areas such as refrigeration and air conditioning technology, operating equipment and auxiliary devices as well as the important issues of food safety and quality management for the confectionery industry complete the show profile perfectly. A highlight of the exhibition is the Robotic-Pack-Line, where the use of robotics and automation technology in a fully automatic snack packaging line will be shown. Since 2013, the FutureLab extends the fair offer. It serves as a innovation workshop and provides students of this industry the opportunity to present their future visions for packings, displays and products. The fair takes place every year in conjunction with the ISM, the world's largest trade fair for confectionery and snacks, in Cologne, but paused when the Interpack will take place. ProSweets Cologne is only available to professionals and provides the confectionery industry with a unique communication platform to set together trends for the industry and discuss the future of the industry.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 01. February to 04. February 2015, about 328 exhibitors from 127 countries and 17500 visitors from 127 countries on the ProSweets Cologne in Cologne.
