According to the report, the project, called Azera Energy Europe Factory, is located in Biotorbagy, Pest, Hungary, covering an area of about 10,000 square meters, and will mainly be used to produce a battery replacement station for electric vehicles. It will be the European manufacturing center, service center and R&D center for Azure Plus products, with the main business including the manufacturing and after-sales service of the swap stations, training for Azure's European Plus business and R&D of Plus products.

Automotive manufacturing is the backbone of the Hungarian economy, accounting for nearly a third of the country's manufacturing output, so it is vital to attract as much electrification-related investment as possible, Sijardo said at a joint press conference held by the Hungarian Foreign Ministry on the same day.
