In 2023, Shanghai Port's container throughput will reach 49 million TEUs (TEUs), defending the world's No.1 position again and maintaining this position for 14 consecutive years.

At present, Shanghai Port's container routes cover more than 700 ports in more than 200 countries and regions around the world, with more than 320 weekly liner departures and arrivals. The Port of Shanghai is also among the first ports in the world to have LNG (liquefied natural gas) offshore refueling capabilities, and has teamed up with the Port of Los Angeles to build the world's first trans-Pacific green shipping corridor.

Recently released financial data shows that Shanghai Port has achieved solid growth in both revenue and net profit. In the face of uncertainties in the global trade environment and increasing port competition, Shanghai Port will further improve its shipping service capacity and operational efficiency to ensure sustainable development in the future.
