Currently, the annual greenhouse gas emissions of the international shipping industry account for nearly 3% of the total global greenhouse gas emissions. In order to deeply implement the national 'dual-carbon' strategy, COSCO Shipping has accelerated the layout of the clean energy industry." Zhang Yong listed, such as cooperation to build the world's first marine green methanol whole industry chain project covering R&D, production, transportation, refueling, certification and other aspects. The 12 24,000 TEU methanol dual-fuel-powered container ships designed, built and operated by the company are expected to reduce carbon emissions by 1.3 million tons per year after all of them are put into the Asia-Europe route.


This year marks the 10th anniversary of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, during which economic and cultural exchanges between countries have become increasingly close and foreign trade has continued to expand, resulting in the rapid development of the international logistics industry.
