This year, China's ports have maintained a higher growth rate of cargo throughput. Ministry of Transportation recently released the latest data show that the first three quarters, China completed the port cargo throughput of 12.54 billion tons, an increase of 8.5%; of which the third quarter growth of 9.5%, compared with the first half of the year accelerated by 1.5 percentage points.

　　Rapid growth in cargo throughput reflects the growth in domestic consumption demand, economic operation stabilized and rebounded to the good trend, also highlights China's transport economic operation continued stable recovery, logistics to protect the results of further consolidation of the good trend.

　　Data show that the first three quarters of China's container throughput completed 230 million TEUs, an increase of 5.2%; of which the third quarter growth of 5.9%, the growth rate of the first half of the year accelerated by 1 percentage point. In addition, this year, China's major commodities import demand is strong, iron ore, coal, grain imports totaled 1.34 billion tons, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year. Foreign trade cargo throughput of 3.77 billion tons, up 10.1% year-on-year.
